Ponderable

“Attempt something hard and you’ll eventually look down at conquered mountains….do something easy and the mountains will look down at you.”

One of my favorite books is The Road Less Traveled by M Scott Peck. The book posits that most people look for the easiest path to achieve their goals. The problem is that this choice conditions them the things that are easy and the moment something hard comes they get rattled. The opposite are people that choose the most difficult path, the road less traveled, where things are very hard. The people that choose this path are not easily rattled when difficulty comes because they were expecting things to be difficult. Most successful people are not successful because they choose something easy…they are successful because because they chose to do something hard.
